Terms of Service

The rules for using Rusty Raiders: billing, refunds, what's not allowed, uptime and support.

These terms cover every game server and service you order from Rusty Raiders ("we", "us") at rustyraiders.net and use through our game panel at panel.rustyraiders.net. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. Questions? Ask us on Discord.

1. Your account

  • Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account and on servers you share with sub-users or staff.
  • Give us a working email address. Invoices, reminders and your panel login are sent there.

2. Billing

  • All plans are billed monthly, in US dollars, until you cancel. Prices are shown on each plan's page; taxes are added at checkout where they apply.
  • Each renewal invoice is issued 7 days before the due date, with a reminder 3 days before. If you save a payment method, it may be charged automatically on the due date.
  • If an invoice isn't paid, the server is suspended 2 days after the due date and deleted 14 days after it. Paying before deletion brings a suspended server back.
  • To change plans, ask us on Discord. We change it by hand and the new price starts on your next billing date.
  • Free trials are offered occasionally, on request, at our discretion.
  • If you think a charge is wrong, talk to us first. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while it's resolved.

3. Refunds and cancellation

  • 48-hour refund: if it isn't working out, you can get a full refund within 48 hours of your first order. Ask on Discord.
  • After that, payments are non-refundable and we don't refund unused time.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account on rustyraiders.net (Services → your server → Cancel), either at the end of the billing period you've paid for or immediately. There are no contracts or cancellation fees, and you won't be charged again.
  • When a cancelled server ends, or a server is deleted for non-payment, its files and backups are removed. Download a backup first. If you ask on Discord within 7 days we'll try to recover your files, but we can't promise it.
  • No refund is given for servers suspended or removed for breaking these terms.

4. What's not allowed

You may not use our servers or network for:

  • cryptocurrency mining;
  • attack, DDoS or stress-testing tools, or attacking anyone;
  • illegal content or activity, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
  • spam, phishing or malware;
  • reselling our servers;
  • running proxy or VPN services. (Minecraft BungeeCord/Velocity networks are fine, with one plan per server.)

Plans run on shared hardware: CPU is shared and capped per plan. Using far more than your share in a way that harms other customers isn't allowed. Breaking these rules can get a server suspended or removed without notice or refund.

5. Games, mods and licences

  • You're responsible for following each game's own terms and licences, such as the Minecraft EULA, and for any keys a game needs (for example your FiveM/RedM Cfx.re key).
  • Mods, plugins and modpacks come from third parties. We help where we can, but we don't control them or guarantee they work.

6. Your data and backups

  • Every plan includes backup slots you can create, restore and download in the panel. Backups aren't automatic: keeping your own backups is your responsibility, especially before big changes.
  • We aren't liable for lost data.

7. Uptime and support

  • Servers run around the clock and we fix problems as fast as we can, but uptime is best effort: there's no uptime guarantee, SLA or downtime credit.
  • We may restart or move servers for maintenance, ideally with notice.
  • Support is on Discord, best effort. We usually reply within a few hours, often faster, but don't promise a response time.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the month before it.

9. Changes and ending service

  • We may update these terms or our prices. We'll post changes here and announce significant ones; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Price changes apply from your next billing date after notice.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
